Terms & Conditions

Everything you need to know about our Refer a Friend promotion — who can take part, which loans qualify, and how the reward works.

These Terms & Conditions govern the True North Mortgage Brokers “Refer a Friend” promotion (the “Promotion”). By referring a friend, family member, colleague or associate (a “Referral”) under this Promotion, the person making the referral (the “Referrer”) agrees to these Terms.

Promotion runs until 11:59pm ACST on 31 August 2026.

$100Visa gift card

When an eligible loan you refer formally settles or draws down, you receive a $100 Visa gift card. There’s no limit on how many friends you can refer.

1 Promotion Period

  • The Promotion runs from the date of publication until 11:59pm ACST on 31 August 2026 (“Promotion Period”).
  • To qualify, the referred person’s loan must reach formal settlement (or, for business/asset finance, formal drawdown) during the 2026 calendar year, or by any extended date notified in writing by True North Mortgage Brokers.

2 Who Can Refer

  • Anyone may take part as a Referrer — the Referrer does not need to be an existing or past client of True North Mortgage Brokers.
  • Referrals must be personal, occasional introductions made by an individual — not made as part of, or incidental to, a business (for example, a referral from an accountant, buyer’s agent, real estate agent or builder is treated as a professional referral arrangement, not this consumer Promotion, and is subject to separate arrangements where applicable).
  • The Referrer must obtain the referred person’s consent before providing their name and contact details to True North Mortgage Brokers.
  • Employees of True North Mortgage Brokers and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate as Referrers.

3 Eligible Loans

  • The Promotion is not limited to home loans. Any loan type processed and settled by True North Mortgage Brokers on behalf of the referred client is eligible — including but not limited to residential mortgages, commercial mortgages, personal loans, business loans and asset finance.
  • To qualify for the reward, the settled loan amount must exceed $30,000.
  • The referred person must be a new client to True North Mortgage Brokers and must not already be an active client, in active discussions, or have a loan application in progress with True North Mortgage Brokers at the time of referral.

4 The Reward

  • Once the referred client’s eligible loan formally settles (or draws down), the Referrer will receive a $100 Visa gift card.
  • One reward is payable per successfully settled referral. There is no limit on the number of referrals a Referrer may make during the Promotion Period.
  • Rewards will be issued within 14 business days of loan settlement, by a method reasonably determined by True North Mortgage Brokers (e.g. post or digital delivery).
  • The reward is provided by True North Mortgage Brokers Pty Ltd as a promotional gift and is not a fee, commission, brokerage or credit activity payment of any kind.

5 Discretion & Eligibility Decisions

  • True North Mortgage Brokers reserves the right to determine, in its reasonable discretion, whether a referral and resulting loan qualifies under these Terms, including in the case of disputed, duplicate, or ineligible referrals.
  • True North Mortgage Brokers reserves the right to withdraw, extend, or vary this Promotion or these Terms at any time, with reasonable notice published on its website or social media channels.
  • This Promotion does not affect, and is entirely separate from, the credit assistance and best interests obligations owed to the referred client. All loan recommendations are made strictly on the basis of what is suitable and in the best interests of the borrower, regardless of the existence of this Promotion.

6 Privacy

  • Any personal information collected as part of a referral (e.g. the referred person’s name and contact details) will only be used to make contact regarding the enquiry and will be handled in accordance with the True North Mortgage Brokers Privacy Policy, available at truenorthmortgagebrokers.com.au.

7 General

  • This Promotion is not a trade promotion lottery or game of chance — every eligible, successfully settled referral receives the reward; nothing is determined by chance.
  • Reward gift cards may be subject to their own issuer terms and conditions.
  • Nothing in this Promotion constitutes financial, credit or tax advice. Referrers should seek their own advice regarding any tax implications of receiving a reward.
